The City Council held a Capital Improvement Program (“CIP”) Workshop on April 20th. Public Works Director Oscar Antillon presented the City Council with projected infrastructure and capital requirements over the next 10 years. The Workshop presentation and supporting documents are available on the City’s website.
Listed below are the currently identified unfunded capital projects and infrastructure needs over that 10-year period. In the City’s presentation, projected costs for years 5–10 were grouped together as a single aggregate amount.
It is important to note that these figures only reflect projects and costs currently identified by the City. In addition, all amounts are reflected in today’s dollars. Future projects and expenditures have not been adjusted for inflationary increases in construction, labor, materials, or other cost escalation factors that would likely increase the actual future funding requirements.
